Who’s gonna win the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023?
Sitting at the patio of my sister’s home in Auckland, sipping some cranberry juice, I was discussing Cricket with my family. Cricket is not just a game for my family, it is an emotion for them, specially for my brother-in-law, who captained his school cricket team at Scindia School, Gwalior, MP, India.
We were all choosing our favorites from the world of cricket, but somewhere concealed, was our curiosity and nervousness about who’s going to win the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 — India or Australia?
I shall keep the favorites debate for some other day/article. However, to drop a teaser until the next one : I was always a Sachin Tendulkar fan who turned into a Virat Kohli fan, in the last few years.
I can’t overemphasize how much are we all impressed by our Indian Cricket Team in this world cup, specially the likes of Virat Kohli, Md. Shami, Rohit Sharma, Shubhman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, etc. Just saying how impeccably have they performed in this world cup, would be an understatement.
